What Is A Youth Night?
We offer a variety of events designed to empower youth and leaders with confidence to share the hope of Christ with their friends. Our events are all done in partnership with the local church so that it is local youth groups who are reaching their communities. This ensures all young people are connected to a church which we believe is the best avenue for follow up and discipleship. Youth Nights are a custom designed outreach that can serve one youth ministry or multiple ministries at a time.
The purpose of a youth night is to create a fun and exciting atmosphere for youth to invite their friends so they can hear the gospel. Word of Life takes over a typical youth night with inflatables, games and a clear gospel message with an opportunity for youth to respond. This allows youth leaders to focus solely on connecting with their youth and having gospel conversations.
Supporting Youth Leaders
After the gospel was shared at one of our events, I caught up with a young youth leader to hear how his conversations with the teens from his church had gone. There were several people within earshot, and he asked if we could step aside. I happened to be standing beside a staff member with professional counseling experience, so I had him join our conversation.
The youth leader shared that one of the boys in his youth group had opened up to him about a deep and painful struggle, an addiction that had been gripping his life for quite some time. It was a privilege to be a part of that moment, not only to help answer some of the harder questions the leader had but to also remind him that the weight of this burden didn’t have to be carried alone. In that space, I could see that God was already at work.
We can never predict what might happen when we share the gospel but seeing Him move in the lives of young people like this, giving them the courage to face their struggles and open up, was so encouraging.
You never know how God will use us, but when you see it happening in real-time, you can’t help but rejoice.
